About Colectiva RIGEN
Colectiva RIGEN is a feminist, regional, and intersectional space working to transform disaster risk management through a gender perspective. The impacts of disasters are amplified by structural inequalities, which is why our work focuses on transforming unequal structures, making differentiated vulnerabilities visible, and building resilient and inclusive strategies rooted in local territories, with an approach grounded in justice and human rights.

We operate as a space for reflection, action, and collective learning, where technical knowledge, territorial experiences, and feminist methodologies come together. We value solidarity, collaboration, and ethical commitment as the foundations for influencing public policies, institutions, and disaster risk management processes that are more inclusive and sustainable.
Since 2019, we have supported organizations and institutions through training processes, applied research, and technical assistance, generating evidence and tools that promote structural change in disaster risk management and gender-responsive public policy.
